If you’re used to jotting down all your ideas, lists and thoughts, then you could probably use the help of an app to keep them perfectly organized. AllMyNotes Organizer is a tool that can help you store all information in a simple manner.

The software comes with a clean interface and an intuitive layout that takes little time to get used to.

All entries can be stored under various folders, in a tree structure that can easily be customized. Everything is kept organized by theme or any other criteria you want.
Items can be moved from one folder to another with great ease, since AllMyNotes Organizer supports the “drag and drop” function.

You can also view your notes and folders with thumbnail pictures. Single files are displayed with the name, content preview and file size, while subfolders are displayed with name, number of notes and folders contained and overall size.

The app comes with a text editor that permits extensive text customizing. Thus, you can choose the font type and size, emphasize (bold, italic and underline), text and background color or alignment. Additionally, you can choose to create bullet or numbered lists, add tables, pictures, files or time stamps. The program also sports a spellchecker and enables you to search for certain keywords in all the notes you created.

You can also create alarms. You must input the time and date and choose the frequency of occurrence (single, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly).

Default text editor options can be assigned from the program’s “Settings”. Furthermore, you can set the tool to auto-save your work every few minutes, have it run at system startup and create a backup to your files.

Norton Antivirus is one of the most popular names in the antivirus market, relying on a powerful scanning system ,with regular definition updates and real-time protection.

Created by the developers over at Symantec, Norton Antivirus promises to be the perfect solution for every computer, as it delivers industry-leading protection against all types of infections, with a moderate footprint on hardware resources.

The installer is extremely efficient and takes only a few seconds after everything is dropped in the right place. And it doesn't ask for a computer restart, something that was mandatory in the past and allowed viruses to spread and sometimes disable antivirus protection.

The interface seems a bit too crowded and clunky and we wouldn't really expect such a main screen from an antivirus that's supposed to be a leader in its segment. The settings menu comprises tons of options, but as always, you should pay extra attention when browsing through them.

There are four scanning modes, 'Reputation Scan', 'Quick Scan', 'Full System Scan' and 'Custom Scan', each with its very own configuration settings. Of course, the third one takes a lot of time and uses a moderate amount of computer resources, but it checks every single file on your machine to make sure you're on the safe side.

Trillian Astra is an instant messaging application with a twist: it allows you to use multiple accounts for various IM services. In other words, it has the power to gather all your friends from several messengers in a single interface.

This software imports all the contacts of your selected instant messaging platform (Windows Live Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, Google Talk, ICQ, Skype), but it can also directly access social networks (Facebook, Foursquare, Twitter, LinkedIn).
